When you install an Adobe extension through the Creative Cloud, the easiest way to locate it is via My Exchange. From here, go to the page of the extension you wish to locate.

On each extension page there is a ‘Where To Find It’ section. Opening this will tell you where you can locate each extension. Not every Adobe extension can be found in the same place, so it’s worth having a look.

Where are Adobe plugins stored?

Third party plugins for Adobe Applications aren’t all stored in the same place. As our blog is focused on video related advice and information, we’ll show you where you can find

Adobe Premiere Pro plugins on your system:

Adobe Premiere plugins on Mac are stored in: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/

Windows users can find Premiere Pro plug ins here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-Ins\7.0\MediaCore\

VST plugins are audio only plugins such as Accusonus’ ERA Bundle. They can be used in video and audio editors in the Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem. To find these on your system go to:

Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
