Once a month, our partner and co-Chair of SEV’s Innovation Committee, Marco Veremis hosts innovative Greeks, who excel by achieving increasingly higher goals. His guests unfold their stories and share with us their exciting journey, experiences gathered along the way, but also their recipe for success.

In this 9th episode, Marco Veremis interviews Niki Goulimis, who founded Nova Credit to solve a problem she faced when immigrating to America: immigrants’ lack of financial confidence.

Niki Goulimis has lived in the UK and studied English Literature and she believes that the “no” someone says gives value to the “yes.” She talks about the difficulties of recruiting and the time she daily dedicates to her team. She also offers tips on how to “raise” money from VCs.

In this conversation with Marco Veremis, they also discussed the next day of energy, Silicon Valley’s monoculture, the fintech talent in Greece, and the challenges of raising a child while living in the universe of entrepreneurship.
