Once a month, our partner and co-Chair of SEV’s Innovation Committee, Marco Veremis hosts innovative Greeks, who excel by achieving increasingly higher goals. His guests unfold their stories and share with us their exciting journey, experiences gathered along the way, but also their recipe for success.

Dr. Marily Nika left Greece for 9 months to pursue a Master’s degree at the Imperial College in London. Today, 12 years later, she’s already spent 8 years in London and moved to San Francisco. She worked for Google for 8 years and now works at Meta.

She has experienced the growth of artificial intelligence from within, as she has been working in the field since 2013, long before Google Home, Alexa and, of course, Chat-GPT or DALL-E became a reality. In fact, she has contributed to their development, directly or indirectly.

With Marco Veremis, they discuss the true nature of Artificial Intelligence, the changes it will bring to our daily lives, the solutions it promises, where it outperforms humans, as well as its disadvantages.

We’d like to thank Eurobank and Grant Thornton for supporting the production of the Innovative Greeks Talks series, via Growth Awards, the leading initiative for Business Excellence.
