Anodyne Nanotech Inc (www.theheropatch.com), one of our portfolio companies, based in Athens and Boston, successfully raised additional funding of $2.25Μ, making significant strides in its growth journey for further development of its innovative patented technology, the Hero Patch.

This new funding round was led by Big Pi Ventures and raises the total amount of capital invested to $6.5M. The company’s patented, solid-state, porous microneedle technology provides the first effective platform, Hero Patch, to deliver milligrams of biologics transdermally.

Konstantinos Tzortzakis, Anodyne’s co-founder, stated that “this new funding will accelerate the further development of our technology, aiming to provide an effective, painless and affordable alternative method, to all patients with chronic diseases and their needs for frequent injections”.

Anodyne is a good example of the company Big Pi invests in since it has an innovative product, unique intellectual property, a team based in Greece, a leader like Konstantinos along with a great team who are constantly working and innovating to make our world a better place.
